Finding Colour As The Year Thins Out

Hey beautiful people,

Remember this Romwe dress from my off-with-the-sleeves post? I restyled it with some colour and shine. After all, isn’t that what this season is all about?;) Just when you think you’ve exhausted all the options of styling a dress you love and you get the idea to wear a shirt over it and knot it in front. You see God? 😀

What do you think of the look, nailed it or nah? The necklace is from Dammy Toms accessories, an affordable accessories brand and you can still get the dress here for less than 5k.

As expected, there is a lot of excitement in the air this season and it’s difficult not to have some rub off on you. What are your holiday plans? Is “budget” a problem? Not to worry, I shared a post on fun and budget-friendly activities you could engage in this season. It’s also a great time to give your personal style a revamp for those of us who are getting bored of our style.

I’ve recently been wondering about people for whom 2016 wasn’t necessarily a great year and can’t seem to catch this season’s excitement and how they are coping with the pressure of everyone expecting them to also be on a “high”. I was somewhat in that space around this time last year and I know it wasn’t pretty. I hope you know that your feelings are valid. I hope that you won’t let the pressure get to you and just do you. I hope that like I did, you too will find solace in friendship and I hope that something beautiful happens to you just before the year ends to change your mind about 2016. 🙂

Sending you love, light, strength and colour.
