Last Friday, I attended the official opening of The George Hotel Ikoyi. It was an exclusive cocktail party with amazing food, wine and amazing people. I just got my pictures and I decided to make a blog post to share the experience with my awesome HMSI readers.
The high point of the event for me was the unveiling of The George hotel documentary. I actually teared up little:). Here’s why….
The company I work for (Kelechi Amadi Obi studios) was in charge of the documentary project. And guess who the producer was?
You guessed right….Me! :D. It was my movie production debut and it was such an exciting experience. We had less than two weeks to produce an entire documentary. We had to work at breakneck speed and it still turned out to be a tremendous success. Now you see why I teared up. I felt so proud of our work and I can’t wait to share the documentary with you guys.
In other news, the event had some pretty famous people in attendance. I’m talking captains of industry, successful entrepreneurs, celebrities, etc. I felt absolutely privileged and inspired to be in the company of such large doses of greatness.
And the food….Gosh! I lost count of how many times I ate! (covers face)
Guys, there was this particular mashed potatoes and shrimp dish….OMG…Amazing…
Thanks to the food at this event, I am not ashamed to say that I am now a certified foodie. In fact, I am seriously considering adding a food section to this blog. What do you guys think? He he he.
The wines and cocktails were exquisite too but i’m not really a wine person (yet) so I wasn’t that interested.
Anyway guys, here are the pictures I featured in….
I felt super sexy in my dress. I think I should invest in more dresses, they are so easy to throw on when you have nothing else to wear. Perfect for lazy fashionistas like moi! 😀
I can’t believe I didn’t take any full pictures to share my full outfit with my awesome blog readers. :'(. I blame it on having too much fun and countless “foodgasms”. I’m sorry guys😆. Will definitely make it up to you.
Thanks for stopping by.
